Who Can Attend The Condominium Owners’ Association Meeting?
The main property is managed by the condominium owners’ association, and the management style is determined by this association, subject to the mandatory provisions of the law. The condominium owners’ association meets at least once a year at the times specified in the management plan; if no such time is specified, it meets within the first month of each calendar year. The condominium owners’ association convenes with a majority of condominium owners in terms of number and land share and makes decisions by majority vote. Each condominium owner has one vote, regardless of their land share ratio.
As a result, the right to vote in the condominium owners’ general meeting is granted to the condominium owner.
Can I Attend the Condominium Owners’ Meeting as a Tenant?
The Condominium Law does not require that you be a condominium owner to vote at the Condominium Owners’ Meeting. A condominium owner may send someone else to the meeting by proxy to cast their vote and express their views. At the meeting, the proxy has the same powers and rights as the principal.
