When is Withholding Tax Paid?
The time intervals for withholding tax payments are also regulated by the Revenue Administration every year. Taxpayers make their payments in line with the calendar determined at the beginning of each year. Taxpayers who make a business agreement in this regard make their payments quarterly or every month. Taxpayers who will make monthly payments are obliged to make their withholding payments until the 26th day of the month, and those who will make quarterly payments are obliged to make their withholding payments until the payment day of the third month. However, withholding payments must also be made for taxes reported through the annual income tax return. These payments are paid in two equal installments in July and March each year. The declaration of rent withholding payments is made in March of each year. Payments made in two equal installments are deposited in March and July.
