Removal Of Restriction Code
The reasons for imposing restriction codes vary. Some restriction codes are imposed due to visa violations, while others are imposed by the administration based on intelligence information. Some of the restriction codes imposed are listed below.
V-69 (Foreign nationals whose residence permits have been revoked)
V-71 (Foreign nationals who cannot be located at their address)
V-70 (Foreign nationals who have entered into a fraudulent marriage)

The restriction codes most frequently applied from among those listed above are G-87, V-69, Ç-117, Ç-113, Ç-114, and Ç-141.
G–87 (Foreign nationals posing a threat to general security) Restriction code G–87 may be imposed on foreign nationals based on certain intelligence information, and these individuals are deported. At this stage, it is necessary to file a lawsuit to cancel the deportation decision and also to file a lawsuit to remove the restriction code. In the case of restriction code Ç-141, taking into account the specific circumstances of the individual, the entry into Turkey of a foreign national who has violated judicial or administrative laws in Turkey or abroad may be subject to the permission of the Ministry of Interior. This is possible by placing the code Ç-141 on the individual’s passport information. As with restriction code G-87, a lawsuit must be filed to cancel restriction code Ç-141.
Restriction code Ç-113 is imposed on foreigners who enter Turkey illegally. Depending on the duration of the visa violation, their entry into Turkey is prohibited for a period ranging from 3 months to 5 years, and they are also subject to an administrative fine.
