The liability of the Assurance Account is limited to the guarantee limits determined by the Undersecretariat of Treasury at the date of the accident. This guarantee limit is not paid in all cases. First of all, the amount of compensation that the right holders can claim is determined by taking into account the faults of the parties. This determined compensation is paid within the scope of the coverage limits.
